Community Engagement in Bocas del Toro
Through my work at SFS, my involvement as a member of the Bocas Hope Spot, and personal initiatives, I created several educational materials about the marine life of Bocas del Toro and gave presentations to various groups throughout the archipelago.

Although I am no longer living in Bocas, I hope that these resources will continue to serve the community - please use and share them! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
Some of the community projects and presentations from my time in Bocas:
Giving presentations to community youth groups (Women of the Ocean, Give and Surf)
Writing a Coral ID guide that was presented to IBPNM park guards and distributed to dive shops
Creating the La Vida Marina de Bocas del Toro coloring book, distributed to 500+ children during the 2020 pandemic
